How do sim get married on The Sims double deluxe?

First, you talk to the person 3-5 times. Then serve food, wait till they eat it, then, watch TV and click the person you want to get married to, click watch TV, then propose, (If they say they aren't in a good mood, try again tommorow.)

For two Sims to marry each other on the sims double deluxe you cant just have one Sim randomly marry the other Sim when they're still aquatints. That's a very important thing to know. Instead you have to boost up they're relationship to romantic interest, or if you made them go steady, then they would be boyfriend and girlfriend, so they're relationship name would be boyfriend or girlfriend, but if you already know how to do that then you wouldn't be having trouble figuring out how to make them marry each other, so forget that for know. The point is that if they're relationship is strong enough, then eventually more options would appear for social interactions between the two Sims. One of those interactions would be to ask the other sim to get engaged and then to get married. But, unfortunately I don't know how to have them plan a wedding celebration you'll have to figure that out by yourself. ( ;
