The teen might not have a high enough relationship with another teen, so the option might not be there. Or, there might be a glitch in the game -- do you have the latest patch? If not, those are available for download on the Sims 2 Website.

On the Sims 3, teenagers are different than everyone else (young adults, adults, and elders) because they have different responsibilities. Here is a list of ways they are different. 1) Teenage Sims normally go to school each day. 2) Teenage Sims may have different clothing or hairstyles from other Sims. 3) Teenage Sims cannot be married, WooHoo, or get pregnant. 4) Teenage Sims cannot have jobs, other than part time jobs at certain venues. 5) Teenage Sims don't have as many traits yet. When they age up to young adult, they receive all their traits.

Teenage sims cannot get pregnant in the Sims 2. However, young adult sims (sims in college), can be impregnanted by an alien sim and can have a baby in college. You will be happy to know that your sim can also raise that baby while in college too. If you live in a dorm, theres another plus, your sim doesnt have to pay for a nanny, since there are other people around, that will interact with that baby sim.
A person can go places on the "Sims 2" by taking a taxi. There is no town to visit, but that is available in the "Sims 3. "

Yes, there are several age levels. Baby, toddler, Kid, Teenager, Adult and Elder. If you get Sims 2 University there is also another level in between Teenage and Adult.
