How do you Mary someone on The Sims?

To marry someone on The Sims 3 you have to get your relationship status with them to 'Extremely irresistable' you can see if it at this if when you interact with the sim you want to marry look at the top left of the screen and you will see the status changing as you do romantic interactions. Once it gets to 'Extremely irresistable' click on the sim and click on 'Romantic..' and you should see the action 'Propose Marriage' Then when you click that the sim you want to marry will accept and you go on the 'Romantic..' icon again and you will see the option 'Have Private Wedding' If you want to throw a wedding party then click on your sims phone which is in the backpack and select one of the throw parties and you can design your party.....
