Under your profile there's a tab with events / history. If someone adds you as a friend their request should pop up there.
Otherwise just find out their steam ID and add them as a friend using that.
If you are playing the game press the middle ps3 icon button and go to messages and click ADD on the bottom of the message.
go to mutiplayer, press circle i think ,or maby its start, on the other controller for as many controllers as you want brought to you by cowyay sorry cant accept requests
use their friend code
go to ally propsals and then accept or decline
If you are on the wii then you will eather put in the friend/ally code and they will have to accept the request. Or you will click on there name and press add ally.

I would take your friend's claims with a grain of salt. There is no unit called "Black Ops". Black ops tends to refer to units or personnel tasked with covert, clandestine operations. Black ops does not cover all special operations missions - in fact, black ops are more commonly carried out by intelligence agencies than military forces. Your friend is probably thinking of something like Delta Force, Navy Seals, or maybe even the CIA's Special Activities Division. However, I would be more willing to bet that your friend's story is mere fabrication.

Black ops is about a man who was formaly in the black opratives and captured and is reliving his biggest missions to find out where a very importent broadcast station is and belives his friend resnov is with him all the way.

Go to live, then multiplayer, then go to splitscreen.
go into multi player go into split screen.
