On the last time that you fight Bowser in Mario 64, its quite hard. First, you need to make him stop for long enough to let you run behind him and grab his tail. You press A to grab his tail, then spin him by pressing all the arrow-keys (trackpad on the left) in a circle really fast. Spin Bowser for about 20 seconds until he is spinning really fast. Then, while he is still spinning, try to aim as best as you can onto one of the spiked orbs on the sides of the platform. When you get him onto one, be careful because he jumps back, and:

*BEWARE BOWSER SENDS ELECTRIC SHOCKWAVES ALL AROUND YOU WHEN HE JUMPS. THEY ARE PALE GREENY-BLUE AND THEY Don't Kill YOU VERY QUICKLY. BE SURE TO JUMP OVER AT LEAST 2 WHEN THEY'RE SENT BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, BOWSER WILL SEND MORE UNTIL YOU DO.

You need to get Bowser onto a few spiked orbs before he actually gives up. Its really hard and:

PS When you die and you go onto the windy platform place, get the green mushroom so you can keep going on without losing all your lives.

Ways to get behind Bowser

1. You can wait until he charges at you, back flip when he's very close to you, and then grab his tail while he's standing there.

2. You can circle around him as fast as you can.

To actually get into the level, you require 30 stars. Once you have gotten 30 stars, you can enter the door with the big star on it that is to the left as you enter the basement. Get the star that is on Bowser's submarine, and this will unlock Bowser in the Fire Sea.

Go straight until you get onto the mesh platform. It will begin to move, and you will need to jump onto either the stone or concrete block. You will then need to jump back on to the mesh platform, until you can jump on to the square green platform with the coin on it. (Note: both platforms tilt so be careful) Jump to the other platform, and jump onto the mesh platform as it passes. Then jump on to the stone island and wait for the blue platforms to come out of the lava. Skip from the tops of the blue platforms until you reach another stone platform. This has a bully bom-omb on it, who will keep running into you until either you fall into the lava, or he does. Defeat him, walk over the mesh, and keep walking until you reach a thin metal column with a mesh platform at the bottom. Jump to the metal column, and climb up it. Jump up to either the concrete platform, or to the stone one. The stone platform tilts, so beware. Run across the stone platform to another pole. Jump to it, and climb up until you reach a metal cage. There is a stone elevator in the corner. Ride up it, and then long jump across the expanse while the flame spurt is not spurting. Run up the steep hill, and stop at the top. Jump down to the flat part, and then backflip up on to the mesh. Jump down onto the concrete platform, navigate the two moving platforms, and go up the mesh ladder. Keep climbing until you reach the end, which looks like an "L". When the ladder is at its highest, jump off onto the stone platform, and go up. Avoid the ball which shoots flame. At the top, you will see some very familiar looking blue platforms. This time however, there are flame spurts that you have to watch out for. Once you get across to the other side, there will be a platform with a heart and a long pillar with mesh at the bottom. Either wait until the mesh is at its highest point, or get on to the pillar and jump to the next platform. From here, you can either wall kick up to the top, or you can grab the next pillar and slide down when the mesh is above the lava. If you decide to wall kick, then you can simply jump down to the concrete platform that is right in front of the orange bridge. If you grab the pillar, you'll have to navigate one more pillar before you can stand in front of the orange bridge. Cross the bridge (It falls so keep running) and jump into the bowl. You will land in front of Bowser. He will comment about his troops needing the power stars Mario has, and the battle will begin. He will immediately jump up, and tilt the platform. Run away from him at first, then run toward him as the platform tilts back. He will pause, and you can run behind him and grab his tail. Throw him into one of the bombs, then run up beside him. After saying that next time he'll be in perfect condition, and that the princess is at the top of the tower, he dissipates, leaving a key. This key opens the door to the upstairs.

First, you have to have at least 8 stars. Then, you go up the stairs and take a left at the door with the keyhole in it. Go into the door with the giant star on it, and walk down the hallway toward the painting of the princess. At the end of the hall the floor will swing down and drop you into the level.

Go down the white steps, straight across the bridge and up toward the platform, avoiding the flame spurt. Jump onto the nearest blue platform, and ride it to the other side. Jump off, and run up the hill. Watch out for the flame spurt at the top of the hill. Keep going up until you see four blue rotating platforms. Jump on to one of them, and then jump to the grey platform. You will see three Goombas here, but you can run past them if you prefer. Take a right, go across the bridge, then take a left. Follow the crystal path, avoiding the electric spheres that orbit around some of the crystals. Next, there will be a yellow block going through the platform, don't stay on this block for too long, or you will fall into the abyss. Jump onto the gray platform, and get onto the yellow platform again. Your goal this time is the somewhat triangle shaped platform. Next, move onto the blue moving platforms. You will have to move from one moving platform to the next this time. Get onto the stone platform where the goomba is. You can either inch along the wall to the left, or you can jump on to the blue tilting wooden platforms. Either way, you will end up on a stone platform with two Goombas on it. Jump up to the green wooden platform, and jump on to the square with the "!" on it. This will activate a timer and stairs. Jump up onto the stairs, and jump into the green pipe at the top of the stairs. This will take you to where Bowser is. After he tells you that Peach isn't there, you fight him. Run around behind him, and grab his tail by pushing "B". Swing the Control stick around to make him spin faster. Build up some momentum, and try to throw him into one of the spiked bombs. To release your grip, press "B". If you successfully throw him into a bomb, walk over to him, and he will say that Mario will pay for this later. He will dissipate, and leave a key behind. Grab the key, and take it to the downstairs.

In your second fight with Bowser the Star Beam is nullified. You must go a couple futile rounds with him before a cutscene and side battle occur. Afterwards you're Star Beam is upgraded to the Peach Beam and will work again. The final Boss Fight of Paper Mario is fairly difficult and there isn't just one way to beat it. I'll list a couple tips. Bow's invisibility ability isn't very useful in this fight, because Bowser heals himself often and for a lot, so you need the extra damage a partner can give you to beat him. It's better to use Watt since her attack is fairly high damaging and pierces defense; fully upgrading her will help, but don't use any status inflicting attacks as those won't work against Bowser. Mario's best attack for this fight is the power bounce, but you have to be good with it; it's worthwhile to practice it on some weaker foes.
