How do you beat Dodongo's Cavern in the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time?

O.k., first, inside Zora's Domain, you should do follow the path and go through a cave by King Zora. Beat the diving game there (by talking to the Zora) to receive a Silver Scale to help you dive deeper. Then, you should find a hole under the water. Dive in front of it and go through the hole. You will pop up in Lake Hylia. Swim forward and you will see a bottle. Dive to get it, and you will find that it has a message in it from Princess Ruto, saying that she is inside Lord Jabu-Jabu's belly!

Return to Zora's Domain and stand on the platform in front of King Zora. Show him the letter by pressing the C button assinged to it, and he will move out of your way. Go up the path to your right and enter Zora's Fountain, located behind the King. Give Lord Jabu-Jabu (The big fish-like thing) a fish by pressing the assinged C button, and he will eat it, along with Link! Complete the dungion to save Princess Ruto. She says she will give you anything you want, and you will have two options of things to say to her. Either way, you will receive the Spiritual Stone of Water, the Zora's Saphire. The bad part: Link's now engaged to Princess Zora. Poor Link.

First at entrance climb the vine or ladder then bypass the tresure chest then you will see a door open you'll see a deku hold R and reflect it now in the next room jump! don't jump on the platform! open the chest to unveil a slingshot! now jump on the platform and get out of there go to the chest next to the Spider's on wall bring out you'r slingshot and shoot them! climb up then defeat a spider blocking a cliff attack it's back! Or use deku nut's now jump off the cliff and attemp to destory the strong web below now you'll fall into water go near the non lit torch now hit the switch next to it the torch will light now bring out a deku stick hold it next to the fire until fire get's on the stick! now see the webbed door? get over there and burn the web now enter the room bring out you're slingshot shoot the eye hanging above the door you then enter now! jump into the water hit the switch below Hold A to dive! Now when the water level drop's get to land jump on the floating platform sit there until it get's to land now push the block by holding A climb on it by pushing forward and tapping A enter the room Light the torch's proceed forward defeat the spider you see now light you're stick burn the web far off you will see a small passage go near it and press A Crawl through it now push the huge block into the water once then climb down light you're stick climb back up burn the web jump down bring out you're shield reflect the attack's in order 231 Now talk to the deku he will then open the door to the boss Gohma Use deku nut's then deku stick's when it climb's to the celiing Bring out you're slingshot shoot it when the eye is red! otherwise it will lay it's egg's After defeating it stand there a few second's a heart container will appear grab it head into the blue light every boss has a heart piece! well i hope that guide helped you am glad this thing allow's me to type this much @-@ Sayounara!

The main thing to remember is that you can use the bomb flowers to blow up the cracked sections of wall. In the first room, it does not matter which direction you take, but I chose to go right.

That depends if you go there as an adult or a child. If you go there as a child and its your first time, follow a steep walkway that leads upward to the waterfall. When you get to the top you see a giant frog thing wearing a crown. Talk to him for further instructions. When your an adult and Zora's Domain is frozen, go to the place where you saw Lord JabuJabu. Go there and climb that big glacier in place of JabuJabu. Follow the spinning floating ice plates and you'll come accross a cave. Go in the cave and solve the puzzles. Remember to come out of the cavern with the treasure and a bottle of red fire.
