How do you beat Sledge on Borderlands xbox 360?

1. Get alot of static weapons! These can be used to drain sledges shield.

Get a static SMG or Combat Rifle, then just start shooting him in the face to score criticals!

2. After his shield is depleted, he will say something along the lines of,

"Sledge shield gone? Sledge kill you!"

Then switch quickly to a fire SMG or Combat Rifle, and continue shooting him the face for criticals!

3. Keep on going until Sledge is down. He will say,

"OH! ...that doesnt...feel...good...*GRUNT*"

then you will know hes sleeping with the fishes! Just kill his men, loot him, grab the eridian artifact and get outta there!

TIPS:

Dont kill his men when sledge is still alive, if you get down, kill one of his men to get a second wind.

When you enter the room, look to the right after you have opened the gate, there will be a pathway that circles around. If you can stay on the side opposite to Sledge, he cant catch you.

Well, that's all I got, if you still cant kill him, then go and level up more. If your modacai the Hunter, then you can get a skill that helps your bullets ignore shields completley. ( In wich case you wouldn't use elemental weapons...)
