If you saved the gremlin in the organ room and the one in the rafters in the library, that's two generators out right then. Put a tv on the power pad and an anvil on one of the pressure pads. Do it in this order because tvs last longer than anvils. Then run over to the remaining pressure pad to lower the tracks and send a train crashing into the last generator.
Thinner path:
When the beetleworx machines open up, there'll be a red spot exposed. Thin it out to destroy that generator. There are two generators on the right and left walls on one side of the thinner river and one near the mad doctor. If you're really fsat, you might be able to do this without even fighting (I actually did that once.).
