How do you beat the run away ferris wheel in the amusment park super Mario sunshine?

All you have to do is go to the big pool,go to the right up a bunch of bricks,then to the brick water wall.go up up up,then you will see a big green creature at the very top.knock him off the thing and the ferris wheel will be normal again.Ride it to the top where the shiny Sprite is then get it and you done.

the easiest way is to go across the slope near the Deku tree and go through the first brick arch once you've done that keep going up until you get to the second brick arch but don go through it go into the grass to the VERY edge. turn the view so that you can see the cages on the other side hover in there and land on the cages inside near the top .to kill the electro koopas go on the opposite side of the fence that they are on and hit the B button. spray the green gates to flip them. once you get to the very top jump on the bungee chord and grab onto the gat under the giant electro koopa. push the A button to flip him off. a cutscene shows him go into the water and you get the shine sprite. the ferris wheel will slow down and you can jump on it and get the to the top to get the shine
