How do you beat the unicorn flying on astro knights on poptropica?

Fire the Laser Lance (click and hold, then release) to defeat the Mother Phoenix.

Go down and get the Laser Lance that's on the ground by the metal flowers. Use the flowers that will spring you back up to the ship. Take the swinging platforms to the right and meet Sir Cador. Jump across the Phoenix eggs to reach the unicorn cage. To fire the Laser Lance, you click your mouse. But for the Power Shot, click and hold, then release to fire the blast. This can destroy the red "torpedo" birds and the Mother Pheonix. You have to shoot her 3 times, in the head, and avoid her when she goes from left to right behind you.

You need the Laser Lance from the flowers below the landing pad.

On the jungle planet, you must first recover the Laser Lance from the surface, which is down among the metal "plants". It is in a narrow spotlight just right of the landing site. Once you recover it, use the springy metal flowers to get back up to the ship, then go to the right using the swinging platforms. (You should "step" rather than jump to avoid hitting the electric caterpillars.)

Once you meet Sir Cador, climb the vine to the left of the Phoenix Eggs. You will jump across them one by one as they open and close. The trick is to jump when they are already open, so that you land on top when they are closed. Jump to the cage platform and the Lance can blast open the lock.

You do not beat the flying unicorn on astro knights, you must free the unicorn by clicking on the cage, then click on the unicorn and when flying, try to Dodge the bees, bird bullets, and the big red birds that come at you. The best idea to dodge these things are to stay down the very top or bottom of the screen.
