How do you become evil?

One must only believe that one is immortal, and not designed for any particular purpose, to be evil, like my agnostic Grandfather, who has written so many warped books and manuscripts that he now knows the name of the man on the moon.

Ask yourself how much empathy do you have for other human beings? Do the needy break your heart or do you think they are lazy? Do you feel uncomfortable when you hear gossip or do you enjoy tearing others down? Do you forgive or seek revenge? Do you ever wish real harm on anyone?

If you answer honestly you will know if you are evil.

For a time Satan has power in this world to influence us and can literally turn us evil through our sin. Everyone sins but spiritual sin such as greed, selfishness and cruelty are far more evil than sin from weakness of the flesh such as sexual perversion or vanity. We must read the living word of God, repent and pray daily if we hope to keep the evil all around us from becoming us.
