How do you become level 100 in mining on runescape?

You will first need level 99 mining, and be a member to get level 100 mining. You can get 100 mining by getting a Mining Skillcape then operating the cape. You will get your supposedly lvl 100 mining. You will see 100/99... That's your lvl 100 mining.

Keep mining iron and coal, then making steel platebodies and alching them, that way you get mining exp, magic exp and profit.

You can also mine gold in the crafting guild or in the mining guild and sell it for 500gp each.

The easiest way to level up crafting in Runescape is to buy as much cowhides as u possibly can until u have about 1k left. Then go to Al Kahdrid(east of Lumbridge, South of Duel Arena) and tan all of the cow hides u have for 1 coin each hide. Then buy 1 needle and about 100 thread at the crafting shop on the east side of al kahdrid. Go to bank and with draw 26 tanned cowhides and have ur needle and thread out. Use the needle with the tanned hide and craft leather bodies, chaps,coifs and vambraces until u have tons of crafting xp.

lvl 1-30= 495 hides

lvl 1-50= 162,214 hides

lvl 1-80= 682,849 hides

lvl 1 -99= 6,793,283 hides

That's about 683 million dollars from cowhides to get from lvl 1-99!!! save up!!!!!!!

First mine clay ore, then you can use them on a fountain or water source to make soft clay. Once you're done sell them to another player or on the grand exchange for a modest profit.

Better money making methods become available at higher mining levels.

well it depends what your level is

if you are level 15 i wouldn't suggest iron just yet because it will be kinda slow i would asy still tin or copper. at level 1 do tin or copper until level 20 maybe 23. here is a chart for levels

1-20l-tin or copper

21-30l-silver

31-40l-coal

41-50l-gold

51-65l-gold until 56 then mithril

67-75l-i think adamantite is available if not mithril

adamante level-rune level +5 do mithril or addy

rune+i would do rune is you are 5 or more levels above

Get a pickaxe and use it to mine rocks and certain areas where possible (on the world map it will show a little pic of a pickaxe). Use the best pickaxe that your lvl allows you.

The fastest option for free-to-play seems to be drop-mining iron - that is, mine iron, then drop it. I believe the fastest option for members is granite.
