"Once you go through the wall of twilight, you will turn into a wolf. You will be in one of the four provinces: Ordona, Faron, Eldin and Lanayru. (You don't have to do this for Ordona.) These are the four spirits protecting Hyrule.

They have had their Light stolen by Dark Insects; You and Midna have to go to the Spirit's Spring, where they will give you their Light Vessel. Then, go the the places on your map with white dots. Those are Dark bugs. Hone your senses and destroy the bugs, then collect the Tears of Light. When you get all of them for that particular Spirit, you will restore the light to that Province. Then you'll be human again. Each time, you have to defeat a dungeon in that area before you go to the next place covered in twilight. You have to do this for all three affected Spirits before you can freely transform from wolf to human."

you need to play through the game until zant zaps midna and Zelda saves her but you are stuck as a wolf. Zelda tells you to go to sacred grove. warp to the point outside the forest temple and your old pal monkey comes he point you in the right direction go there and you meet skull kid (who will be familiar if you played majora's mask) chase him and he leads you into an old crumpled shrine aka the temple of time much later on in the game. howl on the tablet and you have a puzzle game with some statues beat them and you get the master sword which lets you turn into human\wolf a will.
