How do you catch a whitetip shark in Sims 2 Castaway for PS2?

The best place to catch a shark is Crystal island. Once you have performed the ceremonial cliff dive keep swimming and eventually you will get a new island. Crystal island, it is a small island but great for cathing sharks! Make sure you fish with a bamboo fishing pole, otherwise you will not be able to catch one! Keep trying and eventually you will catch a shark! Note: I caught my shark on my first attempt! Good luck! Actually, I found the shark in the Tidal Pools (after you do a Ceremonial Cliff Dive from Ancient Theater). The first shark I caught was the Tiger Shark that has the 1/2 of the map piece. I caught a few fish, then 3 sharks, then stopped fishing and checked my goal before the pop-up displayed that I had completed the Fish a Shark goal. BTW, I used the wooden fishing pole...

you could get at least 1 mechanical and body skills, trap your sim and a boar when close to a garden and build all of the tools that a sim needs then go to east river plains make sure other sims help you and check if your sims have full motives! check back later for more boar hunting tips!!

-you would have to resurrect the royal llama people like princess loovalava or king loovalava by harvesting the resources : obsidian , death daisy , blood orange, the iris flower and the mandrake root/manchineel fruit to resurrect the royal people and resurrect beard beard the pirate by finding his remembrance fish by fishing in tidal pool (that's where he died) then when you caught the fish named beard beard Wilson then when you resurrect you would change the iris to a red orchid. (required to wear crown to resurrect royal people and pirate outfit if beard beard the pirate is gonna be resurrected) they would help you hunt the boar and join your tribe. hope it works but make sure that you don't go to crystal island if you resurrect the king! and Bella goth appears and joins tribe if you get abducted with a 10 minute abduction and she caught a boar for you.

I'm going to try all that resurrection stuff, but simply put, all you need to catch a boar is to have enough body skills and most of your motives full, keep running into the boar and stop it from being able to go anywhere, it will get mad and you'll see a pop-up with a red boar, you'll tussle for a bit like you're getting beat up in a dust cloud, and voila! - there's ham on the ground. Sorry if you didn't want to cheat, but that's exactly how to do it.

you should get crystal island by doing the cerimonial cliff dive or what ever.i didn't do that but the crystal island still showed up. then just fish with a fishing pole in one of the tidal pools.

Just go fishing using your fishing pole. It takes a while but you will eventually catch a shark.
