After you have gotten the National Pokedex (you NEED the National Dex for this to work), fly to the Resort Area. Once you've reached the Resort Area Pokemon Center, go across the little wooden bridge with the small palm tree island. Then, begin down Route 229. There will be the small grass, and then turn right into the tall grass. The path will (Well, there's not exactly a path, but the treeline. But you know what I mean.) curve downwards. You will see a lake that looks like a rectangle on its side with a square on top. Three trees and one of the odd-looking rocks will be blocking your path. Use the HM CUT on one of the trees, and use surf on the lake. Likely, the only Pokemon you will even run into will be Surskit!! And, to make it evolve into Masquirain, you need to make it happy. Like Buneary--to evolve, you'll probably just have to battle with it a few times, and carry it around with you. Little tip--Masquirain cannot fly!!! (Or, it can't learn the HM, at least. I've tried.) I don't have the GameBoy early versions (Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, or instance) so I don't know how to get it in those games. But this tecknique will work for sure in Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Diamond, and Pokemon Platinum. I hope my tip helped!!! (I checked this myself--it works.)
