How do you catch the cows on wild west island?

Follow the calf's track left and up from Rock Ridge, and you will see it near Dos Cactos. Bring it back to the corral just left of Rock Ridge, then get your reward.

You can go back to the area near the corral and catch 5 larger cattle. This is not required to complete the island.

To lasso a cow, press the spacebar to start the lasso twirling, then press again when it is pointing (more or less) at the cow you want to rope. Lead them firmly but slowly to the corral.

See the girl rancher in Rock Ridge, who will give you a lasso. Leave the town going left and follow the hoofprints left and up until you find the calf, near Dos Cactos. Lasso it and bring it slowly but firmly back to the corral just left of Rock Ridge. See the girl rancher to get your reward (the old saddle). You can go back, much closer to the corral, to catch the 5 larger cattle and bring them to the corral. But this is not necessary to complete the island.

To lasso a cow, press the spacebar to start the lasso twirling. When it is pointing (more or less) toward the cow, press the spacebar again to throw the loop. You cannot lead cows through trees or fences.
