There isn't any cheats for gt5, when you reach s class you unlock the ability to tune your cars though.
How do you be good in gt5?
Start out with a fairly good car, like a lotus Elise, then work your way up to about 250,000 bucks and buy a McLaren MP4-12C. GREAT buy. Once you soup it up, the car is unbeatable. I have bought many other cars in GT5 and none have compared to this car.
