You can, hit the Esc button and click on the "options" button. You should find a option that says, "Video Setting". Click on the Video setting option and you should see a list of video options that you can do. One of the options should be called "Brightness", with a bar that will let you change the brightness of your game. It goes from moody to bright and with every thing in between. You can set this to your liking, and to save just hit the button "Done".
