How do you change the traits on the Sims 3?

Use the testingcheatsenabled true cheat (to pull up the cheat box press ctrl+shift+c) and right click your sim and one of the options will be modify traits for active sim or you could get 20,000 lifetime reward point and one of the awards is called mid-life crisis which will let you change them.

First open upp the cheat box the type in testingcheatsenabled true then hold shift and click the sim then click on modify traits for acvtive sims or something like that and a box will come upp and there you change it
