In The Sims, to check the mail, have your Sim approach the mailbox located on your lot. Once they are close to it, an option to "Check Mail" will appear in the interaction menu. Clicking this will allow your Sim to retrieve any items, such as bills or letters, that have been delivered. If you have a Sim with a high enough level in specific skills, they may also receive unique items or rewards through the mail.
