How do you complete the Island Zoo scenario on Zoo Tycoon DS?

Find 2 of each animal. Go to the zoo and read the sign to each cage. They tell you about the animal that belongs there and what object it likes to hang out around. Then make sure you build those objects using your eseences. Place objects around town and visit them often at different times of the day. Go back same place same time to get the 2nd color of the animal pairs. I had hard time finding pandas. Then I read the sign again and found out they gather near slides at noon. I made a few slides and place them. Then went back around noon and they appeared. First was black and white ones, then went back next time and got the orange and white. Hope that helps. Zoo is complete once you have 2 of each animal.

After more than 25 attempts and reading all of the information I could find and doing a few test runs this is what I did. sold off all the stuff.

I only used the right front portion of the zoo. When looking into the zoo. At the rear I placed the compost pile. At the entrance to the left I placed the duck pond on cement with a few trees. Kept the zoo running. Placed the Asian elephant statue in the first walk way to keep it blocked off but nice looking. To the right in the water I built the original exhibit. It extended just to the point where the walk way to to back portion begins. I used the plexiglass fence and repaired with the cheap stuff. From the one exhibit I created two 30 square space exhibits for the warts. The first two were the smallest. I hired one zoo keeper started with entrance fee at 35.00. When the guest started plowing in I put a fence across the section just after the pay booth. Put in the little gift stand at 10.00 dollars per purchase and the hot dog stand at the highest price. Keep in mind these two items were placed just to the left of the entrance way once the guest walked into the arch and before the pay booth. For about 1 month I had a drink stand and bench wedged into the space in front of the pay booth But took out the drink stand. Then I filled in the court area and had the turtle fountain just at the point where the guest unable to get from walkway to first island could say what lovely fountains. I used the gold Asian path and Cement. Let the warts breed. By October year one I had a high customer satisfaction and the guest were just so happy that when I saw the 99% and they had so little I began to save every few minutes. I completed 8 wart exhibits and was at November of year one when the 17 guest started getting tired. Sold down the warts to 6 exhibits sold the turtle fountain added the Rain forest Restaurant at top meal price. I placed it so that the guest were only able to walk onto the main island area by 2 spaces and not gain access to any other areas. I continued to alternate selling and using the baby warts to populate the required exhibits after I added the restaurant, and 2 additional zookeepers. I raised entrance price to 50.00. I hired worker to clean up the front area when I put in Rain forest eatery and let him stay till April year 2. By July I had to purchase new warts as the breeding was slow and more money was required to complete the added touches to the 10 exhibits to get them at a higher percent for the animals happiness to be more stable. The guest happiness dropped into the 87 range a few times and I noted that I had guest numbers quickly going up from 20 or so to 45. I pushed the price of entry to 90.00 guest still coming rather quickly it is near August year 2. I paused the game deleted first eatery and added in to the left the carousel at 10.00 to ride, replaced the rainforest restaurant with another at top meal price and the petting zoo. I only need to add one piece of rope fence to close the gap to the right side of the islands as I left this side open so the zoo keeper could tend to the front two exhibits. 4 zookeepers as staff.

October year 2 I fired one zookeeper as the net was going deeper into the red consolidated one exhibit and just kept saving every few seconds that the guest happy rate did not drop. November and December I sold off anything of beauty the guest could not see as the 3 buildings hid them. With one week to go I paused the game I used money obtained from selling off beautification items to reopen fence off and reestablish exhibit 10, checked all the fences, checked all the exhibit rates, fired all but the original zookeeper and prayed. When the notification came up that said you won I quickly clicked on no I do not want to continue and smiled...

You must complete all sorts of tasks and get a certain amount of king points on each island. Not necessarily completing ALL islands. Then buddy's bird Guillermo will come and tell you to go to the capitol is.. Then you watch the credits and you will unlock a very special island just for YOU. It is sort of a let down thou, you get unlimited mana that's good, but no one lives their but you and there is only one building space, no trees, fishing, mining, no FUN.
