To continue downloading a file after closing your PC and restarting it, ensure that you are using a download manager or a web browser that supports resuming interrupted downloads. When you reopen your PC, navigate to the download location and check if the partially downloaded file is still there. Simply click on the file or the download link again, and if supported, the download will resume from where it left off. If not, you may need to start the download anew.
Once you open up iTunes again you should be able to go to the download tab and whatever was downloading before you shut your computer down should start right back up again.
right click on the game or what ever you are downloading click on cancel download and then you can double click it to start downloading again.

if you were to restart your computer while downloading or uploading a torrent it would stop temporarily while windows shut down but then resume after start-up. this will happen automatically as long as you have your torrent program set to start on windows start up (this is the default setting). otherwise file sharing will resume as soon as you run your torrent program.
Sadly, you cannot. Once you start the download, you must continue until it is finished. You have to wait for it to finish downloading to delete it.
From the minute you start downloading
Press Windows Key on your keyboard to open Start Menu and Press Windows Key again to close the Start Menu.
Check again to see if you really did download it and if you did try going to downloads and hit resume
