How do you do a drift in Mario kart?

How to Drift on "Mario Kart."

1. Select your kart and stuff

2. Don't select "Automatic" instead select "Manual"

3. When going around corners hold the "B" button until blue sparks appear at the back at your Kart/Bike (If you want a bigger boost hold "B" until the sparks go to yellow)

This isn't important but if you just tap the "B" button your Kart/Bike it will hop.

hint:if you drift while shaking the controllers back and forth you will create sparks then let go when that happens and it will give you a little boost
