this is how to do tricks with psp fifa 09 1. hold down the r trigger on your psp 2 . move the analog stick while running 3.tap the left trigger so you can do some sick and cool skills like step overs.

For some reason ea didn't include skill controls in the in game manual, but in the paper copy it shows you can do basic skills by pressing and holding any of x, y, b, a and pressing the L button. You can also do fake shots / lobs by pressing and holding said button then pressing b.
