How do you do the frontflip in Super Mario Brothers?

First go to world 3, then go all the way to the end, when you get there, there will be 2koopas on the stairs, jump on one to have it's head go in, then do it again to have it hit the stairs, when it comes back back in a second or so jump again, which will be done automatically from jumping on it.

In Nintendo DS, you have to have about a quarter, to a half of flat running space. You then run extra fast, and jump a lot. You will either see Mario/ Luigi jumping up, and showing you his front side, or he will do a forwards flip.

If you're talking about the DS version, New Super Mario Bros, you have to run at full speed and jump 3 times in a row before you hit the ground, after the first jump, Mario (Or Luigi) will spread his arms and legs, on the 3rd jump Mario will bounce up high and frontflip, there you go
