How do you equipe your sword on wizard101?

Well, if you have a sword, just press B and click on the Wand. Then, whatever the sword is called, click on it, and click on the fist in the blue at the bottom of the screen. You will equip it, and it will be in your hand. (NOTE: it has to be in the "wands" column. An athame won't work.) Pleeeez be my friend I am Gabriel ThunderStrider

You click on the book (the bottom right of your screen). Then you click on the spell deck (fourth from the top on the right). and click on the spells that you want to put in your deck. hope this helped :)

You cannot get to see a sword on your character. You will always see a wand. You can buy swords at some of the anonymous shops in Wizard 101, but you will not see it on your character. I know this from lots of experience.

Go to your backpack and go to the pets symbol and it will show your pet name and you click on it and press equip.

go to your backpack click on the sword icon. then double click the athame you want to use.
