How do you evolve clamperl in pokemon?

To evolve Clamperl, you need to give it either the Deepsea Tooth or the Deepsea Scale, then trade it. It will then evolve into either a Huntail or Gorebyss, depending on which item you make it hold. A Clamperl with a Deepsea Tooth will evolve into a Huntail, and a Clamperl with a Deepsea Scale will evolve into a Gorebyss.

it doesn't evolve by lv it evolves by giving it a deep sea tooth or scale once yo have given it one of those items lv it up 1 lv in the water near the waterfall at the Pokemon elite 4 place and then it will evolve (if u gave it a deep sea tooth it wil evolve into a hontail. if u gave it a deep sea scale it will evolve into a goribis.)

well,a clampearl can evolve into 2 pokemon.1 gorybes,1 huntail.2 get gorybes,have clampearl hold a deep sea scale.to get huntail,have clampearl hold deep seatooth.and,trade with either item!i would choose gorybes,because it can learn psychic moves.huntail can learn dark moves.:)

There are 2 ways:

Have your Clamperl hold a Deepsea Tooth*, and then trade it to evolve into a Huntail

Or">Or

Have your Clamperl hold a Deepsea Scale*, and then trade it to evolve into a Gorebyss.

*You only get either the DST or the DSS when you return Capt. Stern his scanner from the abandoned ship on route 108.
