If they arn't working AT ALL, then you may have to just buy a new controller. If you don't have the money, or just don't want to buy a new one. Then i would say, find a safe way to take the controller apart (DO THIS ONLY IF YOU CAN PUT IT BACK TOGETHER!) If they are sticking and you cant get them unstuck, then i usually just spit on it or lightly throw the controller lol. As disgusting and stupid as it sounds, it can sometimes work. I would recommend just buying a new controller though since it is less trouble and the issue probably can't be repaired without an engineer of some sort. Hope this helped, even if just a little! =)

The "C" stands for camera. In most gamecube games, you can use it to control the camera (surprise, surprise!).
A Gamecube Controller is the standard controller for the Nintendo Gamecube console. The controller allows players to play the video games made for the Nintendo Gamecube.
The GameCube controller does not have a dedicated "plus" button like some other gaming consoles. Instead, it features a "Start" button located in the center of the controller, which serves a similar function for pausing or accessing menus in games. The layout includes various other buttons, but the Start button is the closest equivalent to a "plus" button.
Fixing a controller for the Gamecube maybe possible depending on what type of problem the controller is experiencing. However depending on the damage it may be non repairable and require replacement.

In the GameCube controller, there are no dedicated R3 or L3 buttons like those found on other controllers. Instead, the GameCube controller features a Z button located under the right shoulder (R) and a similar L button on the left shoulder. The analog sticks do not have a clickable function for pressing down like R3 or L3; they are used for directional control and movement.
