The only true, 100% sure fix is to send it back to Microsoft. Hopefully if you have not opened it, the warranty is still good. Some people have found temporary success by intentionally overheating the Xbox, and then allowing it to cool again. Without opening the Xbox to disable the cooling fan, that trick might not work.

you cant fix a red ring of death. this means your xbox has bit the dust, and you have to get a new one around 360 dollars.
yes ther ar many way 2 fix that you can log on 2 xbox .com and read the fix gide or rap it in clothes tull it gets hot then it will master restart its self and re boot with no rings
3 options take off the white or black cover depending on ur xbox and just play it, have a fan blow on it or buy intercooler
u can fix it either send it to Germany to be repaired or turn it off at the plug to stop it overheating overnight i did it and it worked

well thatz kind of unclear... fix what on a ps2? some stuff is cleanable, but most stuff warrants taking it apart.
