To unlock Reptile in Mortal Kombat: Unchained, you must complete the single-player mode with the characters you currently have available. Once you have done this, you will unlock Reptile as a playable character.

I've been having the same problem as well... After you complete the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign in 'Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe", a serious bug in the game is triggered. Specifically, when the player tries to again start the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign, instead of the story-mode campaign starting as would be expected, the 'ending cinematic sequence' that is seen after completing the story-mode campaign is played back, and then the end-credits are shown, and then the player is returned to the game's main menu. Moreover, this happens each subsequent time the player tries to again start the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign, as well. Since Midway was bought out by 'Time-Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment', it was their Tech Support that I telephoned inquiring how to fix this. Apparently, there is no fix and given the chaotic nature of Midway's development studios at the time of "Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe"'s release (the company was undergoing bankruptcy, after all), the developers were never able to find the time to assemble and distribute a patch to fix the issue. There are some imperfect though still useful work-arounds, however. From the Playstation3's console menu, you should be able to find options to delete various types of 'saved-data' pertaining to "Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe". Mind you, there might be several types of 'saved-data' that will need to be found and then deleted hiding amidst the console menu. When all of the 'saved-data' has been deleted, the player should be able to start up "Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe" and be able to play the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign anew. Of course, this has the serious drawback of requiring the player to delete his saved data which he might have gone through considerable trouble to accumulate. Another work-around that I have not yet tried myself is this. From the Playstation3's console menu, you should be able to find options to 'create a new user profile.' This is NOT the same thing as creating a new 'Playstation Network Profile', mind you. After the player has created a 'new user profile', they should be able to properly start and play through the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign. Of course, if the bug is triggered after completing the "Mortal Kombat Characters"-story mode campaign on this new profile, then the work-around will need to be carried out again on a subsequent third, new profile. I hope this helps and believe me when I say that I share in your frustration as regards this bug in what is an otherwise outstanding game.
You can't! But if there is any possible way, you could probably learn through a website like G4 or forums, or even wikipedia. I put the link down there for ya, enjoy! Mortal Kombat http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/63918/mortal-kombat/
Mortal Kombat: Deception features a co-op mode called "Konquest," which allows players to explore a large environment and complete various missions together. However, the main story mode is primarily a single-player experience, focusing on the narrative of the game's characters. While players can team up during the Konquest mode, the central story progression is not co-op.
in the player select screen press R a small screen should pop up and say SELECT ARENA
