How do you get a 2 story house on sims 2?

If you have the game for wii playstations or any other things besides PC i think then you cannot build it but if you get sims 2 mansion and graden stuff with holiday edition double deluxe or sims 2 for PC you can build as many stories as you like byebye p.s. im 14 and obessed with the sims lol hope i helped lovelove

Go to build mode.

Click on the stair icon.

Choose the stairs you want and build them onto the first floor.

Then, go up one floor, put tiles and walls in the second floor.

Voila!

you have your first story. first install stairs, ok then you put walls up and go up a story and you should see some clear tiles. go to buy mode and get floor tiles and fill 'em up.
