The further you get the bigger value of the coins. To get them quicker: Go into Menu -> Upgrades -> Abilities -> Coin Value

This costs coins but will give you red/blue coins (depending on how much you've upgraded it) earlier.

The blue coins will come once you go so far. If you can't wait, or make it, you can go to the shop, and buy an upgrade for the coins that makes it so the coins will come sooner with less distance.

You have to get up to 2000 miles at the top of the game board it says every 30 seconds 500m once it says 2000m then you can start getting them
