• first, you need to get into Frantic Factory (world three)
• second you need to go into the room with Chunky's cage
• third, take Lanky out of the barrel
• fourth, climb up the thingy on the box on the left of the room you must use the move that cranky teaches you the move press and hold Z then click B continue holding Z and walk up.

Upon unlocking the third level Frantic Factory, its shown that Chunky Kong is hanging in a cage somewhere in the factory. There is a Lanky switch nearby that will free him, but you need the Orangstand ability which allows you to climb steep slopes
