Members can sometimes get trimmed or gold-trimmed items from treasure trails. Non-members can buy them on the Grand Exchange.
It's not possible to "gold trim" your own armour, nor can another player do it..if they say they can it's a scam. however you can get gold trimmed armour from the Grand Exchange or from a treasure trail.
