How do you get into rooms on imvu?

Go to http://www.imvu.com/

Create a user name and password and choose Male or Female. Then pick from one of their default avatars to start with. After you create your avatar, click Next and it will take you to the download. Download the IMVU chat client. After you download enter your username and password and login. Once you start you can customize your avatar by purchasing clothes, heads, actions, rooms, and many other things for your avatar using credits. You are started out with so many credits and after that there are many ways to earn credits on the site or you can buy credits to further customize your avatar. You can also purchase items from the shop tab in the client but to see item descriptions you should go to the page.

In the Home screen of IMVU, there is a tab that says My Room. Click on that and it will take you to whatever room is set as your default room. Default room being the room it takes you to when you invite someone to a chat. In the My Room tab you can set furniture and poses in your room to customize it as you like.

While in a room you can change what room to load as your default by clicking on the Scenes tab. Move your mouse over the room you want as your default and a little i will appear, click the i and it will say the name of the room and the developer. Right above that, on the top will say Set As Default. Click that.

go to chatrooms and choose one u want to go in and click go..make sure its not full

You sign up on the main website, download the launcher, and then log in.

All you need to do is go to your main menu/start up screen after you login, and look for the controller. Click on that, choose your game, and voila!

After you create an account go to your start menu and click "Run IMVU" (After you download it,) then you just type in your username and pass and it should open up the 3D chat right away.
