How do you get off the boat on skullduggery island?

To get the map piece, go along the water until you find the floating statue. Climb on it to reveal the Mallet. Push the old fisherman to the right, past the giant Bell Gong, to near the first barrel. Use the mallet to strike the bell gong, and it will scare fish from the water. When he catches one, the map piece is in its mouth.

Once you have all five pieces of the map, trade among the islands until you have the largest ship (Phoenix Warbird) and preferably the Cannoneer from the Pirate Outpost. Now you can outgun Captain Crawfish in a sea battle. When you do, the Governor will give you the card with the Treasure location, and a bone shovel to dig with.

Travel to Skullduggery (the foggy island) and recover the treasure. Beware, because there is treachery afoot. However, you will not need any special skills to prevail.

Once you have all 5 map pieces, the small island, Skullduggery, will appear near the Pirate Outpost. There is nothing to do there until you have acquired the largest ship (a Phoenix Warbird) and the cannoneer, and defeated Captain Crawfish. Once he is beaten, you can go back to the governor at Fort Ridley and get the directions to the treasure buried on little Skullduggery.

To get off the boat in Skullduggery Island you need to float to an island and find the port. Once you have found it you should be able to click "Dock" and you will go on the island :)
