How do you get on free roam on need for speed hot pursuit?

First you must have completed starlight street on career then go to quick race set up your cars make sure you choose starlight street in silverton. When the race starts don't drive off straight away turn around into a short cut drive through it then take a left and another left hten you can free roam the whole city except silverton

You can only do free roam in Career mode, which is only 1 player, but you can race someone else in Split Screen mode, where you choose a track you have unlocked and race in it.

In Need for Speed Carbon when you get a pink slip just go to the safe house and clink on "car select" then pick the car you just got the pink slip to and go to " free roam"
