If you cannot return to an earlier save game, the best you can do is to use stealth and sneak around the back of the town at night. That way there are less people and they are unlikely to see you. If you haven't progressed far yet, you might be better off restarting the game if this does not work.

Obsidian is making Fallout New Vegas because there is a group of people who hate Fallout 3, but love the other Fallout 1-2.And they're a group of people that love Fallout 3, but hate Fallout 1-2.So some people from Bethesda quit that company and joined Obsidian so that both groups love the same thing.Note: The original creators of Fallout 1 and 2 broke apart. Some people stayed, and some people left. The people who stayed made the Obsidian.
It depends on too many factors such as the height of the detonation, the exact yield, the geography and location and amount of people. I'd say it'd be in the millions for sure. I haven't heard of Siberian huskies being killed and being put down for attacking people. Only wolves ( which u may have confused for a Siberian husky) are killed by hunters in Canada and Alaska for sport since they believe wolves kill people which is actually not true, it is half breeds or mongrels that attack people. They are killed for fur and for the trill of hunting them.
