You have to continue to level up and advance. Collect all the free chests and crown chests that you can.

You need to find the fighting style that best works for you, then build a card deck to match it.

Find combos of cards that will strengthen each other. For instance, a giant does not defend himself, only attacks the castles. You should always drop a unit along with him that can defend him from attacks. A giant along with a witch is a good combination.
