Well there are two different ways you can get recon, 1: Complete all the "Vidmaster Challenges" (Achievements) 2: On Bungie Day if you have all the DLC map packs you can play the game type : Bungie vs The World. If you fight and beat a team on bungie staff you will be given recon, even if you lose there is a chance you can still get recon. ex. You have to have Halo 3 ODST in order to complete "Vidmaster Challenges" also you need access to x-box live. Also bungie day comes once a year but i wasent lucky enough to see a bungie person on 2009 bungie day :/ but i am getting vidmasters now and only vidmaster endure left to do(if you want add me on xbox live,AlphaGamer209,i help with vidmasters SOMETIMES but first i need endure)
