In "The Sims 3" for PS3, rodents can be acquired by using the "Buy Mode" to purchase a Small Animal Cage from the Pets section. Once the cage is placed on your lot, you can fill it with small pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, or other rodents. Simply click on the cage and select "Adopt" or "Buy" to add a rodent to your household. Make sure your Sim has enough funds to complete the purchase!
