How do you get silver mail on dragon quest 9?

Zoom to Bloomingdale. Head north, across the bridge, then immediately go east. You'll find yourself in a rocky quarry, platinum ore can be found near the water. While you're here, go all the way west to pick up the flurry feathers too, if you're going for near 100% completion, you'll thank me later.

You buy it at Bloomingdale outside Armour Shop (not the inside one) and I guess your buying it to make "Gold Mail" or "Platinum Mail" and to turn Silver Mail into Gold Mail you go to Stornway into the inn and go to the "Alchemy Pot" and click "Try Your Luck" for this you need Silver Mail,a Gold Ring and a Gold Bracer use them together to make Gold Mail then use the Gold Mail Hephaetus' Flame and Platinum Ore to make Platinum Mail and Platinum Mail looks like Iron LOL ROFL
