How do you get the Call of Duty World at War map pack for free?

you have to use a transfer cable to withdraw the map pack from someone elses hard drive to your computer. then you have to open the mw2 mappack file in modio and change the console id and profile id to the console and profile ids matching your own. then after you have changed the ids. rehash and resign the file and put it on your own hard drive.

They do not work on Black Ops. The maps in the Hardened Edition of the Call of Duty Black Ops were changed so they would be a part of the Call of Duty Black Ops game and game disc. They are not the same as the Call of Duty World at War maps. Some people had already purchased all 3 sets for there Call of Duty World at War game and they do not work on Black Ops.

First the Call of Duty World at War zombie maps were not free even for that game when they were sold as part of the three Map Packs for Call of Duty World at War. Anyway it does not matter because they are not the Maps that work on Call of Duty Black Ops. The four extra Call of Duty Black Ops Zombie maps were redesigned for that game and are part of the Hardened and Prestige editions. The hardened edition now sells for twice the original price because you can not get the maps anywhere else, let alone for free. Say your friend brings his hardened edition over to your PlayStation 3 and you play some of those Zombie games, when he leaves with his disc you no longer can play those games with your standard disc because they are not on your disc they are on his. It is not like First Strike where your friend might try to download his purchase again on your machine and hope you are not, both people get caught and banned from the PlayStation network.
