How do you get the bow in the Legend of Zelda skyward sword?

you find it on the island of gust and it is under a hole in the Nw part of the map just keep digging =)

you switch your items to the bow but in order to use it you have to but arrows or find them but u can buy them in mercay to shoot the bow equip your arrows then tap the arrow icon then use the touch stick the aim and fire when you release

While in the Temple of Courage (Third dungeon), on the first basement floor, there are a bunch of pillars over a giant pit. Run between the pillars on a certain path described in a chamber on the first floor to reach a chest containing the Bow.

You have to be an adult to get it. To be an adult you have to get the master sword. You get the bow and arrows in the forest temple.
