You can only fly it once in the entire game, which is when you have to infiltrate the palace. However, you can play with it a bit as a special memory in one of the cities. Look for the assassins' creed symbol on the map but this is not a task. The machine cannot be generally used like horses unfortunately.

The main story is the same but the story of the main characters, Altair and Ezio, are very different. Assassins Creed Bloodlines does not have the Animus in it as much as Assassins Creed 1 & 2
