How do you get the four jars in twilight princess?

There are four bottles in the game. Here are the locations:

1) Buy it from a Deku Scrub in lower tribly highlands

2) Go into the back of stockwells shop as a minish and agree to take the dog food in a bottle to his pet dog in lake hylia (Location will be marked on map)

3) Fuse kinstones with smith (your grandfather in the game) and open the chest that appears

4) finish the goron sidequest and enter the goron cave and go to the end of the cave to get an empty bottle.

You encounter the first jar very early in your quest. You are bound to bump into it, when you get it it is half-full of milk. Just talk to the shopkeeper after the cat has taken the fish.

You can purchase the second jar for 100 rupees from a man in Faron Woods, the same guy who gave you the lantern. It comes filled with Lamp Oil.

After collecting 20 poe souls Jovani will give you the third bottle, which is full of Great Fairy Tears. Jovani can be found in his house in Hyrule Castle Town. It can be entered by digging in a spot in a courtyard filled with cats.

The final bottle is in the Fishing Hole. Search the edge of the lake for a small pool, cut off from the rest of the water by a bridge. Fishing in here with the rod you get at the beginning of the game will get you the bottle. You may have to try 2 or 3 times.

By jars, you mean the game's empty bottles, I presume. There are four of them in the game, and to get them:

1) Play Talon's "Super Cucoo" game and win to get a bottle with Lon Lon Milk.

2) Rescue the stray cuccos in Kakariko Village and bring them back to the cucco lady nearby the graveyard to get an empty bottle.

3) After getting the Silver Scale at Zora's Domain, dive to Lake Hylia via the Zora's Domain warp and dive nearby to get a bottle with a letter in it.

4) As adult Link, give all ten of the Poes at Hyrule Field to the person who collects Poes in the Market to get an empty bottle.

go to the shop that is the first house on the right after you enter ordon villiage. if shes upset about her cat, then you have to fix that by getting the fishing rod and fishing near the cat twice. after that, she'll give you a bottle half full with milk.

i think you should just be able to buy one. even then, you can keep the jars you have if they go empty. and by the end of the game you end up with like five jars.
