How do you get the golden frog in legend of Zelda phantom hourglass?

Just find them in random ship part chests (chests that contain ship parts). They are very rare, I've got 5. I suggest going to the temple of the ocean king to get loads of ship parts, mabye you'll be lucky!

1. Go to Mercay Island
2. Check your map, you should see a little house with a crane on top, go there
3. Talk to the man inside

He'll change ship parts for you, he'll also repair your salvage arm if it's damaged.
