on a certain mission when you have to chase a heli whenever it lands on a building find a motorcycle or some sort of 2 wheeler drive it up the stairs and jack the heli and you can drive the heli but im not sure you can quit and keep the heli :( if you die well just look up

Also, they will be scattered around the map, mostly on the center island. There is a tall building with a pink ;light in eavh corner near the Empire State Building. you can use the jet pack to fly on top, or use the window washer lift. look on all four sides to find the lift, then get on. At the top, you aren't at the roof, just close. Walk around the the metel walk way until you see a latter. climp it to the roof. There will be a maveric helicopter on a helipad.

You can get a helicopter by unlocking the second island. These helicopters are almost all over the place. I will give you the easy locations of the normal Maverick, Police Maverick, The VCN Maverick (news chopper), sparrow, seasparrow and the Hunter. maverick : there is a much easier way to gain your very own maverick helicopter without having to buy the hyman condo when you have completed the final diaz mission located outside diaz's property .where you have to kill diaz by taking him down along with his gangs, when you have killed diaz you gain his house . if you go upstairs and find the stairs follow the stairs up to the top and you will be tele ported to the roof on the roof parked on the H is your very own brand new helicopter along with your very own new to you mansion Police Maverick: This type of helicopter is what the police use when you get a three star wanted level. There is one available in the Downtown Police Department. Go around the back and you will see a staircase. Go up there and you will find a green and white helicopter, that is the Police Maverick (Note: You will not get a even 1 wanted level when you steal this type of chopper.) VCN Maverick: In Downtown, you might see a building near the bridge to Prawn Island with satellites on them. Steal a helicopter and fly to the top of the building, you will see a blue and white chopper, that is the VCN Maverick. Sparrow: The sparrow is spawn in a small park near the Pay and Spray in Vice Point, once you get in the chopper, it will automatically trigger a mission. You just have to get out of the chopper and wait for the timer to run out to fail the mission and there you are, your own sparrow ready for free fly. Seasparrow: The seasparrow is the same like the normal sparrow except that this chopper can float on water. This type of helicopter is nowhere to be found. You can only get your hands on this chopper by collecting enough packages as possible and one will spawn in Starfish Island mansion. Hunter: The Hunter is the most powerful, strongest, and toughest helicopter in the game. It is equipped with a machine gun and two rocket canisters. The Hunter spawns at Fort Baxter Air Base near the airport when all 100 packages are collected.
