How do you get the key from the canary on wild west island?

You will shoot the key away from the canary outside the mine at Rock Ridge. Climb up near the upper right and you will see the canary.

*You get the Pea Shooter from the deputy at Diamond Plains after you get the Marshal badge and an official portrait (the photographer back in Dusty Gulch). You win the Spud Shooter at the Shooting Contest in Dos Cactos.

well first you give the new portrait you get to put in the office then you get a pea shooter you chase after the Mustachio gang and then go to Rock Ridge take your pea shooter and shoot the bird the key will fall down but the bird wont die and the use the key to open the mine

you have to click on the canary and the the key will fall down, this will only work if you have the potato gun.

you don't have to shoot the bird you just click on the key and the gun shoots by itself (but it has to be the potato shooter.)

All you have to do is click on the key and then if you are holding one of the guns your character will shoot it.

you just click on the canary, but you must have the spud shooter with you
