How do you get the red ruby in virtual villagers the secret city?

To get the pink diamond, you need to have completed puzzle 3 (re-build the alchemy lab by finding all the laboratory items) and need to know where to find the various herbs that grow around the island,

1. drag a villager to the rose plant (south of where the children "play in the dirt" and the orchard, it is a climbing up a rock and has red and pink flowers) they will take it to the alchemy lab and put it on the table

2. drag a villager to the cactus, (north-east of the alchemy laboratory,) they will repeat the above

3.drag a villager to the lotus, (the purple-pink flowers growing in the rock cracks, near the bath) they will repeat the above

4. once you have all 3 herbs, drag a villager to the alchemy table, he will "do alchemy" and take all the herbs to the pot

5. once the pot is bubbling and sparkling, drag a villager to the pot (not a nursing mum or child) he will drink the potion and will "feel light and springy"

6. take the villager to the cliff, below the diamond, he will "try to reach the key" he will eventually jump and take the key, then he will walk to the door on the cliff path and fit the key in the door

7. viola! there is no #7!!!!

Tips

use a child to gather herbs ( they will run a lot faster and deliver them quicker!)

try and feed the villager the potion asap, because after 2-3 mins it will evaporate and you will have to do it again

if your villager is interrupted, and drops the diamond, don't worry! it will return to it's place on the cliff

you do not need a scientist to collect herbs, it can be completed by any villager, so don't waste time using old and slow villagers, and use children and running enthusiasts instead

When yo are able to collect herbs in Virtual Villagers 3 you need to find the rose, cactus, ad lotus plants. Combine these in a potion (you can only do this after you have repaired the alchemy lab) and have your villager drink it. Their status should now say light & springy. Now drag them over to the pink jewel and place them just underneath. Now their status should say trying to reach jewel. After a few jumps she will be able to reach the king and carry it to the door.

The rose is located near the fruit tree and the burial place of the dead, the cactus can be found to the right of the research lab, and the lotus is the pink flower to the right of the bath.
